How Student Peer Review works
Why use the Student Peer Review System?
Student Peer Review is a powerful AI driven software system. The objective of SPR is to provide the instructor with a tool that assesses students, measures student understanding, and helps students learn the curricular concepts. All of this occurs with minimal teacher clerical effort.
In a typical educational environment, the instructor presents the curriculum as a series of lessons. Once a curricular unit is complete the instructor will check for student understanding using some type of assessment which measures student performance. Assessing students in this matter places a large clerical burden on the teacher and, since classroom instruction time is so limited, frequently the instructor needs to move on to the next curricular unit without adequately addressing what each student did not understand. But with SPR the students learn the missed concepts by reviewing their peers' work product.

By utilizing the power of the SPR system the instructor can:
-
Utilize an AI robot (ChatGPT) as a powerful assistant
-
Assess individual students
-
Measure individual student results
-
Pinpoint concepts not understood
-
Enable students to learn misunderstood concepts
-
Create complex assessments that require Higher Order Thinking Skills
